Carrying a go bag is crucial whether you’re newly diagnosed or have had it forever like me! I’ve found the best way to stay “put together” is carrying what my wife & mom call my “GO BAG”!!! Keeping everything in one spot will help loads when it comes to medication administration, keeping up with appointments, staying hydrated, and keeping your blood sugars regulated! Less Stress = Better POTS symptoms- or this is true for me at least!!! For your go bag you’ll need: 1-Water bottle- not to heavy but easily refillable- link at bottom for a nice decent size! 2- Electrolyte drink mix- NormaLyte is the best in my opinion! (Link at bottom for the 30% off option- that water bottle is the exact size you’ll need for your NormaLyte) 3- SNACKS!!! 4- An extra pair of compression socks. 5- A planner or a place where you keep emergency contacts & doctors #s! This also just helps me to stay organized with doc appointments, kids soccer practices, whatever I have going on)! 6- Your medications! 5- A journal or something to keep you busy during your rest breaks if you have to sit a lot! 6- A Reliable blood pressure cuff! 7- A reliable 02 Sat Monitor! (I also have a link at the bottom for a great option)
