I apologize for the video quality; I'm still learning how to make videos for Youtube. This is a basic guide I made for people wanting to learn a little bit about the different cylinders made for the ATC250R and TRX250R. I don't cover every single thing there is to know, but this will give you the basics. My major points deal with open and bridged intakes, transfer tunnels (I left out that the '87 TRX cylinders are a cross between the early and late transfers), exhaust ports and casting quality. I also mention a little bit about buying used cylinders. Remember, this is pretty basic info. I know my good friend, Mindcrime, will gripe about me leaving out a few things such as the fillet added to the late cylinders to strengthen where the early ones cracked , but it is what it is.
