The bridge was completed in 1970. Until 1984, the bridge was called Seoul Bridge. In 2014 there was a film of the Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the movie, Captain America appeared as a god who rides up after tracing Ultron's trailer that started running on Mapo Grand Bridge.
