In this 2nd installment of the series, I dry assemble the actuator components that have arrived, and take a look at the design details and revisions required to make it all assemble properly. Sorry about the audio levels you may need to turn them up a bit. I filmed this after having been in hospital for the day and sedated, so I was a little away with the fairies. I also forgot to mention the requirement for fitting a key in the ball screw slot. When you order your parts from Amy Chen (see video 1 description for contact details) don't forget to ask her to include it with the ballscrews. I got a multi pack set from Amazon to allow me to continue with this build, but it was quite expensive and I'll never need to use 90% of the kit. For the internal parts as well as servo motors and drives, please contact Amy Chen via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... Contact me [email protected] or via www.facebook.com/gpracesim for any further help or to discuss supply of machined ally end caps etc. Website to purchase ally profile (£90 for set of 4) and 3D printed parts to suit (£135 set of 4), I will list ally machined parts there too when available - www.gpsimrigs.com Original blog/design for this 80x80 profile actuator design https://www.fastmateracing.com/opensf...
