Thank you! -Yaelle Video features Gongmaster Don Conreaux amongst the masters of their crafts: Featured Flutist: Tim Wheater, founding member of the alt band, Eurythmics (with Annie Lennox and Dave Steward), he weaves synthesized sounds of the keyboard with wind instruments. In this video: flutes of all traditions. The release of his first solo album, Awakenings, attracted critical acclaim and a powerful response from an unexpected quarter. He suddenly became deluged by psychologists and other healing professionals who wanted to share their observations on how his music had produced a healing effect on their patients. Wheater’s more than 20 original albums present a broad pallet of sounds, variously combining synthesizers, a selection of traditional and/or ancient instruments and, often, instrumental or chorus-like use of human voices. The Mind Body Spirit festivals: Founded in 1977 ( by Graham Wilson and Terry Ellis ) at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London, England. The world's longest-running and most successful alternative lifestyle exhibitions, expanded beyond London to include events in Birmingham, Cork, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sydney and Melbourne. Flourishing in the 1980s, evolving into a popular platform for exhibitors, authors, and authorities to share their knowledge and practices as well as music and performances. The festival's core focus was on a wide range of topics including natural healing, wellbeing, spirituality, consciousness, the paranormal, and religion. Diverse Exhibitors: The festivals attracted a diverse array of exhibitors, including Hare Krishna devotees, Neals Yard, Buddhist groups, astrologers, tarot readers, vegetarians, vegans, tai chi groups, the Anthroposophical Society, and yoga practitioners. New Age Influence: The New Age movement, which emphasized the mind-body-spirit connection, played a significant role in shaping the festivals and the broader cultural landscape of the 1980s.
