Multiple bunkers were built deep beneath the streets of Luton during the second world war, these tunnels could hold 8,100 people in total. We will be descending down manholes to discover whats left hidden under the surface. The former entrances have been sealed and paved over for the modern street above, leaving dark stairways to nothing throughout. There‘s evidence of gas lights, wooden chairs and even some old posters on the wall.
