We visit a saltwater aquarium store in Taipei City to take a look at a great selection of clownfish including some beautiful designer clownfish. A designer clownfish is one that is unique and does not look like any of the common clownfish. Designer clownfish are specially bred for color variations, unusual patterns, difference in stripes (some have more, some of less), incredible shape differences to the fins and differences in the clownfishes body shape. Quick Fish Fact: One of the most expensive designer clownfish ever sold was an $8,900 PeaceKeeper Maroon. Clownfish usually need at least a 20 gallon tank, so they have enough room to both hide and explore. You will need a larger tank if you want to keep an anemone too.
