"Mulch-Direct-Planting" by Johannes Storch of Live2Give Organics (Germany) for farmers in CA and CO

December 9, 2022 This 2-hour video is a recording of a ZOOM meeting that was organized by Patrick O'Neill of Soil Health Services, PBC (a public benefit corporation) in Alamosa, CO in the US (patrick@soilhealthservices.com) for farmers that he works with there in CO as well as for the CIG (Conservation Innovation Grant) group of farmers in CA who are working on developing reduced disturbance production systems for organic vegetables. This initial 2-hour segment was recorded on December 5, 2022 and provides a general introduction to Johannes Storch's (Live2Give in Bio-Gemuse Hof, Germany) "mulch-direct-planting" organic vegetable production that he has been developing in recent years. This first segment highlights equipment and the general system that Johannes has developed. A second recording is also available on You Tube that goes more into Johannes' rotations, his emphasis on biomass producing cover crops and how crop nutrients are provided to his organic vegetables.
