These are not number by the best easy characters, these are rank on how easy the character is to handle. Cassie have small move list which means less memorization. Which can help a beginner out. We can even see at the top tournament level she can also be pretty good. Sonic Fox (the best mkx player in the world) even likes uses Cassie, not because of her damage but of her strong mix up options. I main Johnny Cage, (I don't like playing Cassie) so I am not bais by placing her cassie first. She was just so easy to handle and remember her small movelist.
