Uncollected Thanos Tips Hulk Solo Take Down Marvel Contest Of Champions

Hulk against Thanos number 1 in the uncollected event on Marvel Contest of Champions. I wanted to try another champ to show that you can do half decent damage without a blade. I do have blade but honestly, I did not find him all that amazing in fighting Thanos, perhaps if I had him at 5/65 would have seen more damage. In any case I brought in Hulk and this video will also showcase Thanos abilities in this fight and how to defeat him or at least take as much health from him as you possibly can. Reason I brought in Hulk are threefold: 1. Hulk has a great stun. The stun is very helpful because it disables his first stone Aura. Also, Thanos will not unleash a special until his power is full and his power meter does not go above the meter depending on the fight. So, you can keep Thanos in a very long stun sometimes. I also did very well with a 4-star Hyperion on my testing, spamming his SP2 which also has a great stun. I would think others with a good stun such as Thor would be very useful as well. 2. Next Hulk is an Avenger and gets some special abilities, mostly the 10% damage cap from taking a special three from Thanos was what I was interested in the most. 3. Finally, after a few hits Hulks Class Bonus kicks in which is a small benefit but I will take all I can get. Thanos 1 1. First Stone is the Genesis Stone - He gets an Aura that you have to disable. Basically, do not hit him when the Aura is up but parry stun him or regular stun will take it down. You also have to watch for his Special 1 which is two dash backs. 2. The Next Stone Chaos I believe - Is the one that will get people confused as your controls are reversed while the stone is in effect. Here are some tricks to this: A. The first time he uses it, quickly swipe to the left (opposite of what you normally do) then you can run in and attack right away and as you are hitting the stone wears off. B. When you evade his SP2 it is a bit tricky. First you swipe back to the left normally, then you swipe forward twice to dodge the next two fireballs things coming at you. Again, if you are quick right after you dodge the last one, quickly swipe to the left again and go in and hit. 3. War Stone - This stone is the killer, Thanos is unstoppable for 5 seconds which you can disable if you intercept a dash attack. However, unlike the Guillotine in the last uncollected he is not as aggressive. Found it much more difficult to get the timing right.
