ECZ LAUNCHES VOTER REGISTRATION IN KAOMA

The Electoral Commission of Zambia ECZ says it hopes to have at least 10 million voters by 2026. ECZ Commissioner McDONALD CHIPENZI says the Commission targets to capture all the eligible voters as indicated by the Central Statistics Agency. Mr CHIPENZI says the ongoing continuous Voter Registration is one way aimed at increasing the number of voters which currently stands at over 7 Million. Mr CHIPENZI was speaking during the launch of the continuous voter Registration in Kaoma. And Mr CHIPENZI said the Commission will address challenges people are having to replace lost voters cards.
