Nestled between the Alps and the rolling hills of the Langhe, Cuneo is full of elegant arcades, grand piazzas, and quiet local beauty. We start our day with a coffee at our friend's home where we are staying- just outside the city, then take a local bus into town. Our walk begins in Piazza Galimberti, Cuneo’s grand central square known for its symmetry and historic facades. From there, we stroll along Via Roma, a beautiful pedestrian-only street lined with porticoes, boutique shops, and cafés. We stop for a light aperitivo and a fresh focaccia, before continuing to Corso Nizza, one of the city’s main arteries, offering a mix of shops and everyday life. Of course, we can't resist a quick gelato stop before hopping on the bus back home. To finish the day, we make pasta, sip wine, and enjoy a golden sunset over the mountains.. a perfect ending to a simple, local day in Cuneo.
