Silsersee is located in the Upper Engadin region of Graubünden, Switzerland, at an altitude of 1,797 meters above sea level. It lies near St. Moritz and is surrounded by alpine peaks and forests. Its maximum depth reaches 71 meters. The color of the water shifts from deep blue to vivid turquoise depending on light, wind and season. This film captures the lake as it truly is, without music and without artificial enhancement, just water, wind and silence. Through image and sound, I hope to share the atmosphere of this place and the quiet presence that can be felt at the water’s edge.
