If you've only ever painted 28mm miniatures, there are so many other scales out there to try! Painting smaller miniatures might seem daunting at first, but it couldn't be easier. 15mm is a particularly lovely scale, combining bigger armies, quicker painting times, but lots of scope to add extra details if you're feeling fancy. In this video, I run through some of my tried-and-tested methods for painting miniatures at this scale, and how to adapt your painting style to smaller models where emphasis and contrast, rather than smooth blending, is key. Here I'm focusing at darker skin tones and quick cloth, but the same ideas are applicable whatever you're painting. Give 15mm a try - you won't regret it!
