Twisted Metal: Black Season 2 Episode 2 "John Doe's Second Chance" After the original John Doe was killed by Calypso at the end of Twisted Metal: Black, Midtown P.D. ordered their top scientist, Dr. Allen Becker, to perform the task of creating a whole team of John Does, all with the same mission: to take down Calypso and end his contest. What follows is the rebirth of a particular clone with the same DNA as the original John Doe, who had regained his old memories only mere seconds before being killed by Calypso. This new John Doe is forced to compete in the Twisted Metal contest once more. Only this time: On behalf of Becker, who's pulling many strings behind the scenes without Calypso's knowledge or approval. They struck a deal: Once Calypso's been dealt with, John would be given the opportunity to see his family again. At first, it seems pretty straightforward, however: as the story progresses, he soon begins to realize that not everything is as it seems. After experiencing a weird vision involving an alarming conversation between Becker and The Commissioner, an old friend coincidentally contacts him, offering him to stay in a safehouse deep below the ground to avoid elimination. This is honestly one of the more experimental stories I've made, but it does introduce a few new plot elements that will be further explored in later stories.
