In this video, we are going to talk about the basic chord vocabulary you should have. First, we have the triads. There are four types of triads, but the most important are the major and the minor. Commonly heard as happy and sad respectively. Next, we have suspended chords. In this case, we have the third note (that can be major or minor) replaced by even the fourth (sus4) or the second (sus2). This is kind of a hybrid chord that you don't know if it's major or minor We also have the "add" chords. In these chords, the note that appears after the "add"(add9) is added to the triad. Seventh chords can have a major seventh or a minor seventh.
