In this video I compare the Rokinon Cine 35mm f/1.5 to the Canon L series 35mm f/1.4. My bag has always been full of Canon L series glass, but can the (much cheaper) Rokinon Cine lenses compare? With the cinematographer in mind, Rokinon has created a lens that has a few features that prove to be better for the run-and-gun shooting I do every day. A manual aperture and a hard-stop focus ring with deeper grooves for a follow focus, are great features for the video shooter. But can you sacrifice quality over function?
