Pic of the ranks - https://i.imgur.com/b44LCYf.png I had an insane opener with the 4pT12 procs (20% damage for 8s), combined with new warlock tech of summoning your Doomguard just before the pull with 4pT13 equipped. 2pT13 adds 20s to your doomguard duration as demo (30s as non-demo) and we also cast soulburn beforehand to get the 10% spell power buff for 10s from 4pT13. We combine this tier set with strong buffs from trinkets, which will increase our Doomguard's damage for its entire duration. In this kill I am using Moonwell Chalice trinket prepull and Foul Gift of the Demon Lord trinket. Both of these trinkets give me a large amount of mastery, which I use to snapshot a big Metamorphosis damage increase, but also to snapshot my Doomguard with (note, only demonology warlock's doomguards benefit from mastery). I combine this with the new Ti'tahk staff, which has a ~2000 haste rating proc, which my Doomguard can also snapshot. Once my Foul Gift has procced I swap to a high intellect trinket, as you keep the buff from proc trinkets after taking them off. All in all, I am trying to get as much spell power/mastery (demo only)/haste/crit and hit prepull for my doomguard to snapshot, then once I've cast doomguard, I swap to my mastery gear for a big Metamorphosis, and then finally swap to my boss gear and begin my precast. You want 3 different gearsets. 1. Has Moonwell Chalice, Foul Gift of the Demon Lord and Ti'tahk staff equipped. 2. Has Moonwell Chalice, Intellect Trinket and a high ilvl caster weapon (like legendary staff). This set also needs 4pT13, and you want all of the rest of your gear to be caster gear with int gems and enchants. This is the set you summon Doomguard in. 3. Has Moonwell Chalice, passive mastery trinket and the rest of your gear is max mastery for your Metamorphosis to snapshot it I cast life tap 4 times with the life tap glyph (1s gcd) at -15s to try and proc Ti'tahk staff. At -11s I cast Hellfire to try and proc Foul Gift, Lightweave and Hurricane weapon enchant. You can cancel this once they've procced and keep life tapping (or unending breath) to proc Ti'tahk. At -5s I equip my Doomguard gear (4pT13 and int gear) At -4.9s I use Soulburn, Blood Fury, Potion and Summon Doomguard At -4.8s I equip my Mastery Gear for Metamorphosis snapshot at -3.8s I precast on the boss in my normal boss gear.
