So why not experiment with over dyeing? This started as a 1% depth of shade of Caribbean Blue acid dye from Dharma. I randomly picked Emerald acid dye from DT Craft and Design to over dye it with. I close to dye in a low immersion set up. I had problems with Caribbean Blue before. It didn't completely clear and it was a bleeder. So I found it very interesting when some of that colour started coming out when I was over dyeing with emerald. Fibre reactive dyes can be used on plant based fibre and animal based fibres. Acid dyes can only be used on animal based fibres.
