There are two 2025 Ford Expedition configurations to choose from the standard-wheelbase Expedition or extended-length Expedition MAX which offers an extra foot of space. There are two 2025 Ford Expedition powertrain options available, the base engine is a 3.5L Ecoboost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. In Canada, standard Intelligent 4WD with a terrain management system. In the US, the base model is 4x2 but all other models 4WD. The second more powerful engine is the 3.5L Ecoboost V6, it has 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available on the Platinum model, standard on Tremor. The 2025 Ford Expedition comes with a 4-wheel independent suspension and a two-speed transfer case. Available BlueCruise and a continuously controlled damping system. The turning radius is excellent and it does a great job eating up the perfections in the road. The one thing I don’t like is the shape of the steering wheel, it’s awkward to use unless you are driving in a straight line. The 2025 Ford Expedition seats up to 8-passengers and this is the most tech forward Expedition ever. It has the new Ford Digital Experience with a standard 24” panoramic display with forward position gauges to help drivers see the information more easily. Google Assistant is the default voice assistant and Alexa built-in is available.
