In this reaction video, we explore the story of Civil War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars (known to its inhabitants as Barsoom). Due to the planet's lower gravity, he gains superhuman strength and the ability to leap great distances, which earns him the nickname "Virginia" from the towering, four-armed green aliens called Tharks (featuring the voice of Willem Dafoe). Carter becomes embroiled in an epic war between the red Martian cities of Helium and Zodanga, fighting alongside the fierce Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins) against the nefarious, shape-shifting Therns.
