They both give it a different finished fabric! I'll teach you both methods in ONE video, along with a tip for making sure you don't end up with any clunky holes on the edges. What can you make with this stitch? You could easily make a star stitch scarf or blanket, but just keep in mind this stitch is NOT reversible so the back won't look as pretty.
