We will publish new scores in this series called: The Stompbox Dream Theme. On this video we asked Thunderpussy's lead guitarist Whitney Petty to do the scoring. Here are some thoughts about the process and making of the soundtrack. "I wanted something rocking, so I thought, what's more rock n roll than a Bo Diddley beat? Once I layed that down I put some very un-Diddley scales over it to contrast. I used my favorite Earthquaker Delay pedals (Disaster Transport and Afterneath), some plug in effects (I really need to own a flanger), and threw some bow sounds in there, 'cause it's kinda my thing;) I bowed my Les Paul through my mini ZT amp for the intro, and there's an ebow track buried in the main tune." –Whitney Stay tuned for more soundtracks by Nels Cline, David Torn, Nick Reinhart and more.
