New Stadler stock on the Glasgow Subway, October 2024.

A quick look at the new Stadler built stock on the Glasgow Subway. This is the 3rd set of trains the railway has had since it opened in 1890s, the first set of trains, originally cable hauled before being converted to electric power, ran unti the 1960s. The railway was overhauled over a couple of years with new trains introduced to replace the ageing fleet of 1890s stock, the new trains built by Metro Cammell ran from 1972 until 2024. Replaced by the new Stadler stock.
