Why are gluebooks great? The concept is simple- glue papers into an art journal, using whatever kinds of papers that you would like, and be able to find joy in completing a page or a spread of pages. Here are my 10 tips for beginners who are new to creating in gluebooks: 1-Use a notebook/journal you already have 2-Paper is important, but the type of paper is not 3-Use anything that is flat (paper, ribbons, washi stickers, stamps, etc) 4-You don’t need to “journal” 5-Pick a mixed media (or not) 6-Your style is not fixed.
