For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. Power comes from the potent 340 that was underrated at 275 horsepower. This is such a sweet sounding engine with a ton of potential for more power. These quick revving small blocks meant business. This one has been upgraded with a hotter camshaft, a 750 Edelbrock carburetor with an electric choke, electronic ignition and a high flowing exhaust system thanks to an "X" pipe and Magna Flow mufflers. Power is sent through the stout 727 Torque Flight transmission and back to an 8 3/4 rear end with a 3.23 Sure Grip gear set. The engine and transmission are both numbers matching and have approximately 10,000 miles since being rebuilt. The restoration also included new paint and an added tail stripe.
