Previously, as he started rebuilding Tantegel Castle, Davilas completed the wall around the castle's exterior. Then, he built the Treasury for Launce and the Diviner's Den for Myrlund. Before taking care of the Princess's quest, he will collect some things from the starting island. One such item is the object of a chapter challenge. After resuming, Davilas makes another Sledgehammer and some more Healing Cream. Then, he takes the teleportal east of the castle to Myrlund's haven on the starting island (time 1:49). This is the northwest island in the Tantegel region. In the northeastern mountains, Davilas enters the hermitage (time 3:00). He snags some things within, notably the Evil Idols, some Columns, a set of Steel Doors, and Red Carpet blocks. He also tames some stairs on the way out. Next, Davilas goes to the spring in the southwest of the starting island (time 8:17). There, he snags the Seal of Erdrick in the water. He also takes the Goddess Statue and Filter Fountain. Afterwards, he climbs the southern mountains. In the southeast, he finds the Tantegel Sanctuary (time 10:55). He needs a Sledgehammer to smash the Pebblestone blocking the entrance. Based on the location, I wonder if this was the Rocky Mountain Cave in the first game. This cave is filled with undead and hollow walls. The Skeleton Scrappers drop Keys, which are needed to progress and access treasure. There are four Keys on the first floor. Each chest is guarded by a knight of some variety. One of the chests on the first floor contains Thanatos' Shield (time 13:45). This shield is cursed. Another chest on the first floor contains the Wailer's Mail (time 19:28). This armour is cursed. Downstairs on the second floor, there are two Keys. There is also a wide assortment of furniture to claim, including Bookcases. One of the chests on the second floor contains the Ring of Criticality (time 25:38). This increases its wearer's critical hit rate. In the throne room, a Knight Abhorrent guards the last treasure chest (time 28:06). In the treasure chest, Davilas finds a note (time 30:13). After reading it, he finds himself with the Sword of Ruin. This weapon is cursed. Obtaining this weapon is the object of a chapter challenge. Davilas can also take things like the Throne, the Big Bold Banners, and the carpet tiles. This will simplify the Princess's next quest. There is a disturbing book across from the throne (time 32:13). After working his way out of the sanctuary, Davilas uses a Chimaera Wing to return to the base (time 34:27). Next time, he will work on the Princess's first quest in Tantegel Castle.
