Welcome back to the channel everyone! This week I walk you through my recipe on how to make my SOURDOUGH BRIOCHE BREAD! Instead of eggs and butter, this bread is enriched with LOTS of olive oil. Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson inspired this recipe. Heard of his french toast cheat meal? I created this recipe so we vegans extending an arm to the planet and our animal friends could indulge just the same. ______________________________________________________ Bread Ingredients: 780 g bread flour (This is the bread flour I used - https://amzn.to/3nbF1dP) 12-15 g salt 2 vegan egg replacers (https://amzn.to/3tDZ4UF) 540 g soymilk 400 g olive oil 100 g fed sourdough starter Vegan Brioche French Toast Ingredients: 3 tbsp ground flaxseed (https://amzn.to/32SedWR) 1/4 cup almond milk (plant milk of choice) pinch of salt, cloves, & cinnamon 2 tbsp maple syrup Slices of brioche french bread French Toast Recipe: Mix all french toast wet mixture together in a bowl. Cut 1 inch slides of the brioche bread and submerge for 1 minute on each side in the wet flaxseed and spice mixture. Add some butter to a griddle or skillet and cook on medium heat for 2 - 5 minutes on each side. Make sure that the flax seed does not stick to the pan, but rather your toast, so keep an eye on your griddle or skillet! Make sure it doesn't get too hot! ENJOY!!
