Day 18 - 20 Devils Marbles, Banka Banka & Daly Waters NT - Half Lap of Australia

Alice Springs to Mataranka took us 3 nights to get there, it didn't have to but we found these amazing little camping spots that we just had to check out. Devils Marbles is the first stop, best viewed at sunrise or sunset, which meant we had to stay over night. And it did not disappoint. The camp ground was cheap and large, and kids made some friends. Next was Banka Banka Station, a recommendation from a friend who came this way years ago, and loved it. So we had to check it out too. It was a fun little stop, with a great host and sitting around the communal fire at night chatting to other caravaners was fabulous. The walk to the water hole nearly killed us but was worth it in the end. After that was Daly Waters Pub, another iconic Australia Pub, that you have to visit if you are up this way. Very large camp ground with plently of powered and non powered sites. Heaps of amenties and the nightly entertainment at the pub itself is well worth it. Each stop was only a couple hours inbetween so the driving was easy and all unique in their own little quirky way. Girls have had a blast with their new friends along this part of the journey, and we were very sad to goodbye to them.
