Mal was Deutschsprachiges, meiner geliebten Wahlheimat Berlin zuliebe. Die bewegten Bilder und Begleitmusik sprechen mehr oder weniger für sich. ---------------------------- For once, something in German----for Berlin's sake, the city I love and have chosen as my home for so long now. This iClone-5-animated movie, set at Berlin's Humboldt University and entitled "Der Machtkampf" ("Power Play"), features two peoples' inability and/or unwillingness to communicate --- the student Carsten Seifert, rebellious, bored to tears and fed up with university life and sociology/gender study classes in particular, and Professor Karl Vögele, a surly, hot-tempered and dry-humored man who demands full attention and obedience from his students, and won't take "No" for an answer. The German lyrics in the accompanying songs fit nicely into the above context. An English-subtitled version of this video may follow, if enough viewers express their interest in it. ;) (Incidentally, "Vögele", a perfectly legitimate and common-enough German surname, also happens to be the third-person singular form of the verb "vögeln", i.e. "to fuck".)
