2nd April 2018, 14:54 From top of Wetterkreuz chair, or the top of the Bernkogel chair, you can head down to Saalbach by following Blue 46 (Recently renumbered as 146). The top section of this is extremely gentle and is great beginner territory. However later in the week it was so hot that it was impossible to get a lot of speed and the run actually required a lot of pushing. Here, at 0:15 on the left there is a short camel bumps section which is good fun. If you keep to the right, then just before the huts at 0:40 is the Blue 47 that leads to the foot of the Wetterkreuz chair. Another very easy run.There is another 'Snow Trail' on the left at 1:20 and the run then opens out where the Luis Alm and Barnalm restaurants are, as well as the top station of the Bernkogelbahn gondola at 2:30. At this point the run becomes a lot steeper and was also a lot harder work at the time due to the slushy snow and bumps that formed on it easily (Better conditions were found later, see    • SkiCircus, Saalbach - Bernkogel descent, B...  ). For an early beginner it's better to take the gondola down from here. The restaurant that is passed at 7:50 on the left is the Backstatt Stall, also known as the Soul House. Supposed to be good Apres Ski here, but it was on it's last days before it closed.The run eventually finishes at the Gondola base station from where it's a walk through the town to either the Turm 6er, Kohlmais or further to the Schattberg X-press.
