Community Activists gather up At the fourth precinct calling out City leaders to Fire Minneapolis police officers involved in the assault on the juvenile During high speed chase/carjacking Chase. Several Twin Cities groups have scheduled a news conference Thursday to address a police-related incident that happened Wednesday in Minneapolis. According to a press release from Communities United Against Police Brutality: The community is outraged at the treatment earlier today of two Black youth and other neighborhood residents by Minneapolis and Robbinsdale police as well as Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies. One of the youth was savagely punched by a police officer while two others held his arms. Witnesses stated that the other young man was bitten by a police dog. Much of the incident was captured on video Even as we watch the Derek Chauvin trial, the community continues to experience abuse and brutality at the hands of law enforcement. This conduct must end now.
