Marseille metro all the lines compilation

The Marseille metro is a relatively small completely rubber tyred metro system serving the city of Marseille. It has 2 lines and 1 type of train. The system opened in 1977 and hasn't changed much from then. There are plans to automate both lines and order new trains since the current ones are old and reaching the end of their lifetime. This renovation will include the construction of platform screen doors. One ticket costs 1.50 euros which is relatively cheap for a metro system in Europe. It connects Marseille to it's large destinations and also connects people to different tram lines. It's a cute system and if you're ever in Marseille I definetly reccomend using it whether it's to get from your hotel to your tourist destination or going to and from the train station it's a great transportation option.
