GOPRO HERO 7 SILVER - CAMERA FREEZE, ISSUE AND NEW PROCEEDURE TO RETURN CAMERA

This video talks about the issues I faced with my new GO PRO HERO7 SILVER camera like freezing, switching off abdruptly and the new proccdure about how to return the camera to company for replacememt incase you live in India. Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/manikabedi/...  Take the SD card out of your camera  Insert it into a compatible card reader or directly (depending on your laptop) and insert the card reader into the USB slot of your laptop.  Now open the SD card on your laptop. Keep this window open.  Next Google the words “GOPRO update manually”  It will open many option, just select ”Update your camera Manually – Go Pro”  This will bring you to the main website for Go Pro products- Gopro.com/update.  It might ask you to click on the picture of the camera you own, in my case I didn’t get this option as I have been very regular on this page.  Then it will ask if you would like to update your camera using GO PRO app or wit “other ways to update”. You need to click on “other ways to update”- Update your camera manually.  Then it will ask you to enter some important information about your camera like the 14 digit serial number and your email address. The serial number is located next to the slot for the SD Card.  Check both the boxes for agreement on terms and conditions and press “Next step”  Now make sure all this while your SD Card is inserted in the laptop. DO NOT TAKE IT OUT.  On the next screen it will ask you to ‘ Manually update- Click  You can scroll down the page and see all the information you need for updating but I will walk you through it.  Now while the update in downloading, which might take a while go to the desk top and create a new folder .  Name it “UPDATE”  Once the update is complete- open the folder containing the files.  There will be Three files in Update folder- 1 Folder, 1 VLC File and 1 doc file  Copy all three of them  Paste these three files in UPDATE folder on desktop  Now Send UPDATE folder to SD card.  Open SD CARD TO CHECK ALL FILES ARE COPIED.  Remove the SD Card and insert it back into the camera. Make sure the Camera is off.  Make sure to insert it with the copper tabs facing the screen.  Turn on the camera and now wait as it will show a picture of a folder and an arrow denoting that the update is initiated.  The camera will beep and restart many times or as long as it will take for the update to finish. About 10 minutes in my case.  Your update is done and your camera is now ready to use
