Are you wondering it’s like to live on campus? Zoe, Vero, and Mercedes invite us to take a tour of their suite in Animas Hall. They’ll show off their unique style, organization tips, and which furniture is included in the suite and rooms. And this is Hall. Why don't you come on in? This is our living area. This came with the couches and the TV but we added all the other extra accessories. This is our kitchen area. This is where my roommates and I keep all of our snacks and it came with a microwave and a fridge. This is my room. I like to come in my room and get a lot of my academic work done. I also brought another fridge from home because I snack a lot while I get work done because it helps me focus. There's my other roommate. Hey, Vero! VERO: Hey, what's going on? Oh, so why don't you guys come check out my room? So I set up my room to be more of a spacious homey kind of layout. I like to decorate it so I feel good when I come in here. The rooms do come with a wardrobe, a dresser – that a lot of time students like to take apart and put under the bed to create more space. It also comes with a bed and a desk. Other than this, it's a great place to just come in here after class and get my work done. My other roommate lives right next door. Why don't we go check out what she's doing? Hey dude, look at who I brought. MERCEDES: Hey, my name's Mercedes and this is my room. So one of the things that I really like about my room is that it's really well-decorated. My roommates call me the Martha Stewart of the house because my room is really well-decorated, it's well-organized, it has a theme, and everything has a place. For example, like my closet, even though it's not a lot of space, I've somehow managed to fit all my clothes in here. One of my secrets is that I double hang my shirts to keep it organized and so I'm able to see my clothes. I use bins to place shoes and larger shirts, and then up here I have jewelry and more makeup and my pants back there. So this is a way to help me stay organized while looking fabulous! This is the sink area which is the central part of our house, where we're all able to get ready together. And this is our shower room for just our suite. VERO: One of the other things that I like about living in Animas is the Faculty-In-Residence. This means that we also have a professor who lives in the hall with us. MERCEDES: Another unique feature about Animas is that we have a community kitchen that any resident in the hall can use. On Tuesday nights, we all like to come together to have Enchilada Night.
