In one part of the island, an old well and an equally old artesian well are the main sources of fresh water, disregarding the yellowish color, metallic taste, and sometimes, saltiness of its quality. For Cleir, Joy, Gelyn, Jesemer, all students of Cobrador Elementary School, clean and fresh water is like gold. One gallon of mineral water costs 50 pesos.
