Christopher Falzone Rachmaninov Concerto 2, 3-rd mov. solo

(recording session) Coming back to our conversation about the Art of Creative Transcription, which I proposed to share with the school as a future curriculum course (or any other form). I remind you that my recording sessions are coming soon, and please pass on this information for any interested students and faculty. In this program, I will perform piano concerti and a piano trio as solo piano versions in my original transcriptions and improvisations in solo recitals in Festivals as Martha Argerich Project in Lugano (also I received some awards in Italy and France, including medals). During the last five or six years I began to perform my transcriptions -- a side of pianism that for centuries has inspired artistic creativity and has been of vital importance to , pianists-composers, and improvisers. The last two years have been particularly intense for me: I was involved in educational and artistic projects in France and Italy, including masterclasses about twentieth- and twenty-first-century music. The works were by Faure, Debussy, Dukas, Scriabin, Ravel, Bartok, Dutilleux, Xenakis, Ligeti, Berio, and Stockhausen, as well as student compositions and improvisations.
