Initial D Fourth Stage Opening 1 - Dogfight Remastered in 1440p using ESRGAN [AI Machine Learning], and to 60FPS using SVP [frame interpolation technique] ESRGAN is an AI Neural Network software that is capable of upscaling and reconstructing low-resolution images, while retaining most of their elements and details intact. SVP uses the same frame interpolation technique as available in high-end TVs and projectors (see "TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others). It increases the frame rate by generating intermediate frames between existing ones in order to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. I took the original video file from the RG Genshiken RIP, and used ESRGAN with the Manga109 training model to upscale the video 4 times its original resolution. Then I used SVP with high masking to upscale the video to 3 times its original framerate.
