DAY FOUR: Our final full day at Center Parcs Longleat Forest | Land Train, Badminton, Shopping, Swim

This video captures what we always call our “activities day” — the day we spend out and about, making the most of the village before heading home. We start the morning aboard the Land Train, exploring the forest and village before hopping off at the Sports Plaza. If you’re curious about routes and stops, there’s a full Land Train tour already live on the channel. Our main activity of the day is Badminton, booked around lunchtime — a relaxed, fun session that even our 6-month-old wanted to get involved in 🏸. (01:20) After the game, we take the long way back to our lodge, wandering through different accommodation areas, eyeing up lodges for a future stay… and even sneaking a peek past the Treehouses, where we stayed back in 2019. Later in the afternoon, we head to the Plaza shops — Joules, Treats, Just Kids and the Store Room — one of our favourite traditions, and a guaranteed way to bring a little bit of Center Parcs home with us. As the light fades, we finish the day exactly how we love to — with a twilight swim in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. The warm outdoor pool, steam rising into the evening air, the rapids, slides and kids’ area… there’s nothing quite like it.
