Www.instagram.com/leslie__burris CHECK OUT MY BLOG www.leslieburris.com CONTACT ME BY EMAIL [email protected] MAMA LB SIMPLE SHEPHERD PIE INGREDIENTS 1 medium onion chopped 2tblsp avocado oil 4lbs ground beef 3 tablespoons flour 3 cups frozen veggie mix Salt, pepper, garlic powder 3 large baking potatoes 1/3 cup butter 1/2 cup sour cream Peel and cut potatoes and put them in a pot and put them over high heat until they come to a boil and our fork tender. Once they are fully cooked drain the water, add the butter/salt and mash. Add sour cream and stir until creamy. In a Dutch oven, add avocado oil and diced onion with a pinch of salt cover with the lid to sweat the onion . Once the onion is clear and soft, add ground beef and stir until fully cooked Add flour and stir and cook until beef is thick with little to no liquid . Add the vegetables along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste cover for 10 minutes Spread mashed potatoes over the meat combo and then lightly dust with smoked paprika. (Optional) Put in an oven at 475° uncovered until bubbly, golden and crispy on top
