Located between Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, the park is open every day of the year, but it's best to visit during the week when it's not as crowded. The park is very well maintained, and it features several trails that lead through the red rock formations, which you can access by climbing over, going through, or climbing under. 👉As you drive up to the park, you might see a few rocks off in the distance that make it look like it could be a great place for a hike. Unfortunately, the hike isn't going to be as simple as just walking out your car door and up the nearest trail. This is the Garden of the Gods, not the Garden of the Gophers.
