There is something really cathartic about playing a pedal that is just designed correctly. I feel like writing pens up more naturally when the sound you are getting just comes out right for the situation. Native Audio’s Wilderness delay is a prime example of a “just right” kind of device. This is an analog voiced delay that just sits cleanly in a mix, accentuates your playing, and doesn’t do anything out of place until you ask it to. And then it does. You’ve got pretty intense modulation available and multiple delay speeds that can be accessed via laser beam sound effect time warps. Not bad for an easy to use delay. Let’s dive in.
