Assetto Corsa 1996 Formula One Damon Hill Williams Renault FW18 - 1992 Hungarian Grand Prix Track

With a best lap time of 1:14.985, just over ten seconds faster in this (Forbys 1.1) Williams Renault FW18 than the ASR Arrows A18 and still miles faster than the ASR FW19 for that matter. This car much closer to the real world performance of the 1996 & 1997 cars around this track. Although I do see the power is specified at 1000bhp which is around 250hp more than what the Williams had with their Renault engines at the time. I haven't explored the cars data file much yet to see what else makes it so much faster than the ASR equivalents but it will be interesting to see the differences in specifications. Either way this car is an absolute hoot to drive and very skittish when pushing close to or at the edge which makes it very exciting, just like a Formula One car should be! Its just such a shame that the ASR cars aren't even close to this, sadly as its where they should be. This car definitely isn't perfect and needs some graphical issues fixed, sounds great though!
