These are the demo presentations for DeluxeVideo v1.2 for Amiga, made by Mike Posehn & Tom Casey of Granite Bay Software, for Electronic Arts. Circa 1986. DeluxeVideo was an early interactive scripting suite for the Amiga, where you could create animated projects using IFF images and objects made from EA's Deluxe Paint -- as well as play sounds and music sequences made from EA's Deluxe Music Construction Set / Instant Music SMUS files. The real trick was that you could use an Amiga Genlock and overlay the sequences over your own video source -- that way you could create titles for your home videos. In short, this was THE Amiga multimedia editing suite before Video Toaster came out and became the hip thing. This demo is a showcase of its many advertised uses, such as pie charts of what the Amiga could have been... (*sniff*), space shuttle launches featuring Space Odyssey voice clips, growling bear logos and zooming text to overlay onto your crappy family videos... and even a Mitsubishi Starion commercial featuring a rather loosely-interpreted Instant Music version of 'Money For Nothing'!
