The penultimate stage from day 1 of the 60th Ardeca Ypres Rally, a 2nd run on SS Mesen. This video is recorded at the location where Lefebvre crashed last year. There was a hot moment from Mark Škulj similar to the start of the accident from last year, but the 20 year old has good car control! See at 15:54 SS Mesen-Wijtschate is 15.12 km long this year, the start is the same as last year but the stage continues on parts of former SS Hollebeke (not SS Wijtschate despite the name - and parts of the 2nd half of former SS Hollebeke are now the start of SS Zillebeke). After this stage, Verstappen enters the top 10 again and is now on +49.8, after losing 53.8 seconds to Lefebvre on SS4 with a puncture. Lefebvre is still in the lead, followed by Potty on +7.9 and Cherain on +19.8. Reynvoet is out since SS5 where he clipped a wall and his front right wheel broke off, he also was within seconds from Lefebvre and Verstappen.
