The reJAWventor demonstrates his trademarked reJAWvenation™ technique. This is restoring and enhancing the jawline using fillers. The patient treated requires mainly enhancement. The correction is performed using 22g Softfil cannulas with the Easy Guide System. The port placement is along the jawline anterior to the facial vessels. The filler is placed in the preplatismal space in a retrograde manner. The goal is to create a gentle curved jawline and gonial angle. In females, the gonial angle is between 120-140 degrees. A gonial angle that is too structured gives a more masculine effect. After correction along the jawline, the cannula is flipped into the prejowl sulcus and marionette area. From this same position, chin augmentation can be performed if needed. The before’s and after’s show the efficiency of using 1cc of filler when placed in the preplatismal plane. Cannulas make the procedure safe, comfortable, and with little to no bruising.
