Usman is a multitalented artist who is set on a journey to reclaim Pakistan's lost culture and tradition through establishing the first and vibrant animation industry through the production of his feature film "The Glassworker". This is the story of a journey in the making across multicultural biases. Artist, Director and Composer Usman Riaz is the youngest TED Senior Fellow and the founder of Mano Animation Studio - the first hand drawn animation studio in Pakistan. “The Glassworker” is Usman’s first directorial debut and it has been funded by a kickstarter campaign. Usman is laying the foundations for the first animation industry in his home country by "laying the foundation for artists in Pakistan to come and work on beautiful works of art that they can be proud of."
