Please Subscribe!!!! This is a Christian Rock anthem about how narrow the path is to Heaven! Lyrics Footfalls echo in the valley of decision, Shadows scream with every twisted lie. Wide is the road drowning men in confusion, But few are the ones who choose to rise. I feel the fire burning in my spirit, Calling me out from the death of the past. A whisper of truth—I tremble as I hear it: “Straight is the gate, narrow the path.” (Matthew 7:14) I won’t bow to the darkness calling, I won’t follow the world to ruin. Heaven stands on the ridge before me, And I will walk it—though only a few do. The narrow path— A blade under the feet of the faithful. Only those who endure Will behold the King unshakable. The narrow path— Where the proud and the false never last. Walk it now, or hear the echo: “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” (Matthew 7:23) Temptation roars like thunder in the desert, Voices of demons dressed in gold. But Christ is the flame in the center of the furnace, A Shepherd for the brave and the bold. I see the gate shining in the distance, No kingdom of earth can compare. Only by grace can I cross its entrance, Only the blood of the Lamb brings me there. I refuse the path of destruction, The road where the hollow run blind. I’m clinging to truth with violent conviction, Leaving my broken past behind. The narrow path— A blade under the feet of the faithful. Only those who endure Will behold the King unshakable. The narrow path— Where the proud and the false never last. Walk it now, or hear the echo: “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” When the last trumpet breaks the silence, And the Judge stands in blazing light, Will I be found in the Lamb’s alliance? Or fall with the ones who refused His life? “Choose this day whom you will serve,” The battle cry of the ancient Word. (Joshua 24:15) I’ll die to myself—let the old man burn, For Christ alone is the King I serve. Narrow is the way— But wide is the war inside me. Still I rise— Because the cross has won the victory. The narrow path— I’ll walk it through the fire and the struggle. Clothed in the armor of God, I will stand when the kingdoms crumble. The narrow path— Where the faithful endure to the last. Welcome home—or hear the thunder: “Depart from Me, I never knew you.”
