This is the Good News: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; James 2:10 - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: The Bible declares there is none righteous, no not one. None that doeth good, no not one. God needs perfection in order to be saved and go to Heaven. Simply put, we are hellbound sinners in need of a savior. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, Hebrews 10:14 - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Thankfully, God gave us his only begotten Son to save us. Our Lord Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and he died for all of our sins: Past, present, and future. His blood on the cross is payment for the sins of the entire world. He also states that he is the Way, (singular) the Truth, (singular) and the Life. (singular) Not by works, not by baptism, not by church attendance, not by prayer, not by confession. He says that no one comes to God except through Him. Acts 16:30-31 - He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. John 6:40 - And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:47 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 11:26 - And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? I want you to think about this: What if I told you I'm going to Heaven because I'm a good person or because of my good deeds or because of my baptism. Would you say that I'm trusting in Jesus or am I trusting in myself? I would be trusting in the sinner, (myself) rather than the Savior. The one who truly saves is Jesus Christ and all we need to do is believe in Him and Him alone. (Acts 16:30-31) (Ephesians 2:8-9) Salvation is by grace through faith alone. (John 6:40 ; John 6:47 ; John 11:26) Trusting in Jesus Christ and what He did for you. His death, His burial, His resurrection. John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Hebrews 10:14 - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 1 John 5:13 - I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. Jesus speaks with clarity and authority: “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand.” In this one verse, He declares 3 amazing truths concerning the security of our salvation. Number one, the possession of eternal life. Two, the promise to never perish. Three, the power of God's protection. Once you are saved, you are always saved. This is the Good News: that you are loved and never beyond hope. He sent Jesus to save us. Jesus lived without sin, died for our sins, and rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures. This message isn’t about earning God’s love; it’s about receiving it. Through faith in Jesus alone, we are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life. No matter where you are or what you’ve been through, hope is still alive. Don't place your faith in a sinner, but put your faith in the Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord because He loves you. Amen. Song: C418 - Subwoofer Lullaby (Slowed Rain) #Jesus #God #valorant #aim
