Digitised 8mm film of the early days of the Latrobe Valley Model Aero Club in the early 70's. As a child we followed our dad around as he built and flew these model planes. Video includes inaugural members and their families at the Lake Narracan location. The Latrobe Valley Model Aero Club is an incorporated club that was formed in 1972 and has approximately 50 members living in the area from Pakenham to Rosedale. Most of our club members are into general sports flying although some club members do specialise in other forms of model aircraft such as Gliding, Scale, Mammoth Scale, Old Timer, indoor flying & Helicopters.
